and so it is the eve of dec 13th and “THE END ‘Scrooge’” is displayed in the foreground of my television set with ebenezer dancing through the winter snow, hand in hand with a child i suspect to be tiny tim. at least that’s who i think it is. i wasn’t really paying attention. seems fitting enough. with the exception that i seem to remember him with a crutch and i didn’t see one just now. i have tivo but toni already changed the channel. the only flaw in such an otherwise perfect instrument. someday soon it will hold the last 30 min of every channel at once, not just the one, all available for your rewinding or pausing pleasure but for now all i can do is wonder who it was with ebenezer in the snow dancing away from me and the bahumbug-self of his christmas’ past.
it has now been a number of days since last i stumbled in here. i have wondered if someone would blindly find me and it appears more difficult than first i imagined. and yet i am still continually encountering those who claim to have visited “my xanga site”. they have not. so i wonder how it is that the xanga sites that are not of my making, with claims to be, are so readily findable while mine remains hidden in obscurity. i have deliberated with myself regarding a link added from my bio on our website but have held the notion that a very courageous soul would wander here and i could set things straight. it’s not that i’m so very troubled by an imposter’s confiscation of my person as much as it is the troublesome articulation of my faith on my behalf. they are not the words i would choose and the poorness of them keep me awake some nights from fear that you think them my own. i regret to sound critical but criticism is needed at times and you might even say they were asking for it. surely i am permitted an inquiry of my own words, am i not? they are too small for the grandness of the story and would not have been chosen were it up to me. but i will wait.

This may be weird but how in the world can anyone know you’re really who you say you are? I mean, all the others said they were “you”. How do people know you’re not another fake?
Sorry, just wanted to clear something up. It’s not that I’m hard and cynical and think that it could never be David Crowder. Just don’t want to be duped like the rest.
Wow, if you are really you, that’d be so sweet! I admit to having come across a few “fake Crowders” on Xanga already ans so it makes me wonder the authenticity of this site as well. Only thing I can say is that I hope this is true, that you are indeed the Real David Crowder! I just have to say I was only recently introduced to your music and it is amazing! Truely the LORD has blessed you in this area. I’m looking very much forward to reading this site.

Brett, you kill me… But he *does* have a point. We’re all connected to HyAffinity Ministries out in the Lansing, MI area (however loosely it may be… Gabby, join the blogring!! You count!!). It would be really sweet if we were able to host an event featuring worship led by David Crowder! Coffee is just too banal for me… Not that there’s anything wrong with it… My wife is caffienated by nature…
