coincidence? i think not!
1. we started recording the new album friday.
2. months ago i had discussed the concept of the new album with my good friend t.d., some of this discussion involved kepler, as in johannes kepler, as in the german mathematician/astronomer, as in “the music of the spheres” guy, because, well, i mean it is obvious, of course it would involve kepler.
3. friday, as in the day we started recording the album, as in the day previously mentioned in point number 1, nasa launched a new telescope into space to look for earth-sized inhabitable planets
4. guess the spacecrafts name.
5. no, seriously, guess.
6. you’re right.

Yeah……. That’s nust…. Almost as crazy as that time when I commented on a friends facebook status with some lyrics from “A beautiful Collision”…. Then, immediately after, I look down and notice my song has changed in my playlist of about 200 songs…

Does your ‘music of the sphere’s reference mean that you’re doing a cover of ‘This is My Father’s World’? Because that’s my favorite hymn, and it would be flippin’ sweet it you guys included that on your album.

Don’t you just think, that when these events unfold, God has his laughter barely held in??!! We gaze at the event, we find His handprint… we are in awe, we share the evidence of His presence……… (He can do whatever He pleases, whenever it pleases Him,………) we find it out, I just really think that He is so pleased to see us find Him, that He laughs. What an awesome God.

Nothing is a coincidence. That’s so awesome!
A man, or woman… or animal, really the distinction need not be made. A creature, or robot… ok, an object moves 5 units. Then it moves 5 more units. Then a space shuttle lands on it. Right on top. Now, fast forward 2000 years. A man arrives with a CD and inserts it into the space shuttle. The man then realizes the space shuttle is not a space shuttle at all, but a tea cozy. He looks to the stars and says “this is the best CD ever!”

(Under musical interest on my facebook it reads: David Crowder is a musical genius) God gets the credit of course, afterall, your admirable character qualities are modeled after His. But you just do a good job at paying attention to Him. Thanks. Thanks for your consistency in your life and message and especially for sharing the joy you find in the small things, the big things, and the “coincidences” such as previously mentioned. hi…just wanting to write you and ask you to think about something…if you will! i am not in the music business, so i don’t understand how it all works…but i read somewhere that you will not re-release “all i can say”! words can not express how much i would love to own this album…and right now, the only way to get this album “new” is to order it off amazon for $50! and while, with all of my heart, i would order it if i had the money to do so…..i wish that someone wouldn’t list it at this price, just because it’s “out of print”! people could truly be blessed for having this at their fingertips…i know i would! and not just for the main song….but the whole album. from what i have been able to hear of it…the whole thing sounds amazing! please, please, please…..i know this sounds silly, but “just think” about it…pray about it! so many of us truly desire these words of worship in our lives…our cd players…our mp3 players! i just wanted to drop you this note and hope you take the time to read and consider it! i have just in the last year been exposed to your music…and i absolutely love it…and that’s an understatement! maybe i will find your “all i can say” in a used cd store…if nothing else!

I have been singing DC*B songs since I first heard you guys in Sacramento, CA unexpectedly with Chris Tomlin, and at that time I immediately bought All I Can Say. Fast forwarding a few years to A Collision, I was (and am still) elated to see that “ya’ll” see–and are spreading–the beauty of math (at least that’s my interpretation of what’s going on)!!! Seriously, I was so happy to see sigmas and “elongated S’s” in 3+4=7′s album book!!
