it is official. we will now have the pistol smoker joining us for the evening. if you don’t know about the pistol smoker then it is unfortunate. it is a bbq smoker that is fashioned in the shape of a pistol. it will be with us tuesday night. you simply must taste meat from the pistol. it is a thing to behold smoke pouring from the barrel while meat is cooking to perfection. it is optical, olfactory, and gustatory stimulation. it is too much to take in really. we couldn’t have you come over for the evening without getting a little food in you. so hoe down and bbq. i could not be happier about this. see you soon.

i’m trying to figure out which is more important….. registering for summer school or spending an evening with david crowder and the pistol shaped smoker….. i’ve been praying about it…. i really think God’s leading me towards driving to Waco….

Hey, I just wanted to say thank you for your heart for the Lord. I listen to your cds while I’m driving, doing homework, and pretty much any time I can, and I’m just so grateful to listen to music produced by people that just love Him and want nothing but to honor and glorify Him. I can’t wait for Passion again and you all better be there!
And since you’re already in Texas, there is a place in Llano (in the hill country) called Cooper’s BBQ that serves up some amazing barbeque just straight up off the grill onto a paper placemat otherwise known as your plate. It’s good.
Wow, that thing looks pretty freakin’ cool. Only in Wakko Texas I guess. If I was nearby, I’d go and take lots of smokin’ gun photos. Then I’d run away.

haha wish i could be there because that would be AMAZING!! but there are a few problems: 1-only 15 and don’t get my license for another month, 2-going to romania in June so need that money, 3- live in hickville Iowa, 4- have English that day, 5- baby-sitting three kids that day. Hmm if I could get out of any one of those things I would, but some seem irreversible for some reason. Wonder why??

THIS ALL MAKES ME SO HAPPY! THE JOY FROM MY HEART IS OVERWHEMING BBQ AND HO-DOWN HERE I COME. GONNA DRIVE OUT TOMMAROW AFTER FINALS. Just pray that I will be able to concentrate on Calculus and keep the huge crazy smoker in the back of my brain until Waco has arrived.
i’m going to break down and cry… the pistol (still not the best?) and a hoedown.
I can’t believe I’m going to miss a hoedown and a BBQ! I wish I either lived in Texas or had the money to come to Texas whereas I’d need to have no school.

Please ask the nice folks at Michna’s if you can borrow the pistol smoker for Passion ’06. Or maybe you could just tour with it. That would be great. If you have this shindig on a weekend next year (it WILL be a regular thing, won’t it?), you could also file that under “great.” I can bring some Stubbs bbq sauce which I have to buy in a grocery store since I don’t actually live near said Stubbs bbq.
