ok. so i have great news. it worked! you guys beseeching our lord seems to be just the thing needed. we got approval for all of the verses for the song! but now there is another issue. there is an intro piece to one of the songs, “be lifted or hope rising” that is titled “soon…” it is a sample of an old black spirituals recording, really a historical documentation more than anything, and we now are waiting for it to be approved. it is out of our hands and in sony music’s. so again i suggest the thinking of happy thoughts and beseechings of our good lord. i mean you absolutely must hear this thing! it is too beautiful to wind up tossed aside. we would be eternally sad if you too could not be moved by these beautifully rich vocalizings!!!!

If the other one worked out then hopefully this matter will work itself out as well.
If not we can mob sony’s head quarters and burn it to the ground… but perhaps that wouldn’t be showing the love of Jesus.

When is it that the fans will be able to have a listen to one of the songs on the album, even for only thirty seconds. Trust me i’ll buy it wether i like it or not, just to support you but i just wanna hear like 2 30 second clips. I know here is our king is out on the how great is our god album, but that can’t possibly define the cd.

I just want you to know that I was having a very bad weekend this past weekend and then I was in Family Christian Bookstore and I finally got a hold of the Michael W. Smith tribute album, and your rendition of Secret Ambition made all the bad go away. So I was just wondering if ya’ll could record a new song every time I have a bad day, that would be great. I’m just kidding! But, please play it when you come to Georgia in October. I’m going to both concerts, Peachtree City and Athens. And could you stop by 722 while ya’ll are in town too? Just say that Josh Wright invited you. That would be bad to the bone.
Also, I heard a rumor that ya’ll accually comment on other people’s xangas. Well, “heard a rumor” as in you commented on my friends xanga and now she’s rubbing it in my face. But I have a $1 signed by ya’ll, so I’m not really that jealous. You did, however, call my friend from the GMA’s (her step-dad was there, I know you remember because I asked you at AtlantaFest), and that I am jealous of. But I shall get over it. Because I have your album pre-ordered, and that makes me happy. Sept. 27th can’t come soon enough…
And finally, I’m praying that everything goes smooothly with all the legal stuff ya’ll are having to deal with. Obviously satan knows how much God has annointed this album, but we already know that God has full control over it. So nothing satan does can stop this album from coming out. Praise God!

Black gospel is so moving, almost as though their voices alone were made for it. I’m sure whatever you guys come up with will rock our socks, and if not, it just wasn’t meant. I shall prayerfully lift up this situation.
